Due diligence is the most critical part of the search process and is key to how Sage Executive Search generates positive results. We invest as much time as needed, typically a minimum of a day, at client site or sites to gain a thorough understanding that will allow us to match a candidate with the job responsibilities and culture.
We meet on-site with everyone involved in the selection process and with all employees who will report to the new executive. We tour the facilities to gain an intimate understanding of the organization, culture, employees, management and overall environment.
During these interviews and through our in-depth questioning and observation, we gain a thorough understanding of the challenges a candidate will face. Additionally, we probe to identify the experience and skill set needed to succeed in the position.
Armed with this knowledge, we can paint a vivid picture for potential candidates – about the opportunities, challenges and environment. This, in turn, helps us attract and entice the "A players" that best fit the job and the organization.
